Father accused of abducting 2 California children as frantic search underway

A frantic search is underway for twin children authorities say were abducted by their father in Los Angeles County, with officials warning there is concern for their well-being.The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department issued an urgent plea for help on Facebook, asking the public to help find two “at-risk” children, Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick.Authorities said the twins were taken by their father, David Sukonick, around 8 p.m.Thursday from the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster.Marozhina Sukonick, 9, is described as 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said she was last seen wearing a white shirt and pink shorts.Her twin brother, Solomon Sukonick, is also described as 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.He was last seen wearing blue shorts and a shirt of unknown color.Officials are asking anyone with information about the children’s whereabouts to immediately contact authorities.The father and the children were last seen driving in a 2011 Black Lincoln Town Car.
The car has California license plates that read “SOLOYST.”The kids’ 71-year-old father weighs 135 pounds and is described as being 5 feet and 7 inches tall.He has green eyes and brown hair.
