Horrifying footage shows chaos moments after massive pileup on 210 Freeway

A multi-vehicle crash on the westbound 210 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley left several people injured and lanes closed for many hours Saturday night.A Tesla was reportedly driving the wrong way at a high speed on the freeway, which turned lethal when the car crashed into a U-Haul box truck, officials said.Soon after the collision, a second crash involving several other cars was also reported. The box truck was engulfed in flames during the crash that happened just before 6 p.m.
Saturday near the 118 Freeway in the Lake View Terrace area.The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the incident along with the California Highway Patrol.“Firefighters and paramedics responded to a traffic collision involving at least two vehicles on the westbound 210 Freeway.
Firefighters extinguished one box truck involved with fire; four patients are being assessed for treatment/transport,” the LA Fire Department said.Officials said that at least one person was transported to the nearby hospital.The freeway had only one lane open after the crash but all the closed lanes were back to normal around 10:30 p.m.
