3 tourists kicked out of Bali for breaching visa conditions
Three people visiting Bali have been kicked out of the hotspot after breaching their tourist visa conditions.The three men, from India, Singapore and China, were all busted working on the island using visa permits only intended for visiting purposes.The Indian and Singaporean men identified by their initials ARG and RN, respectively, were both running yoga classes at a villa in Buleleng Regency when they got caught.They were also reportedly working as yoga instructors.Meanwhile, the Chinese citizen identified as ST was found installing production machinery at a factory in Karangasem Regency in East Bali, according to national publication, The Bali Sun.He was also allegedly providing training to company employees on how to operate the machinery.The 48 year-old Indian man and 34-year-old Chinese man were on Visas on Arrival (VOAs) while RN, 44, entered under the Visit Visa-Free (BVK) facility.The men, who were found to have breached their permits in the last few days, have since been deported to their respective countries in accordance with Indonesian Immigration Law.Anak Agung Gde Kusuma Putra, head of the Singaraja Immigration Office, said these stay permits cannot be used for work or activities inconsistent with the purpose of the visa.“Every foreign national in Indonesia is required to comply with applicable immigration regulations,” he added, while speaking to reporters following the deportations from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.“We will continue to increase supervision of foreign nationals as a form of immigration law enforcement.”The three foreigners have also been black-listed from entering Indonesia.It comes as a warning to Aussies not to break their visa conditions when visiting the popular island.’“Make sure you understand your visa conditions, entry and exit requirements.
