NaLyssa Smith speaks out on ex DiJonai Carringtons claim she cheated with multiple WNBA players

NaLyssa Smith is having her say on the cheating allegations posed against her by ex-girlfriend DiJonai Carrington.Carrington alleged Sunday that Smith cheated on her with multiple WNBA players, including Deja Kelly and Aaliyah Nye, before they broke up last year.Hours after the public callout on Threads, the Aces foward took to Twitch to address the situation in a nearly nine-minute video.

She didn’t confirm nor deny the allegations against her.“Whether she cheated on me and I cheated on her, why are we bringing that to the internet a year later when nobody did anything to anybody? Whether she cheated on me or I cheated on her, that has nothing to do with anybody,” Smith said.“Like what? That don’t even make sense.

And to bring it to the internet a year later, is crazy.Just for fun? That’s ridiculous, especially when you’re in a happy healthy relationship.

I would never in my life do that to nobody if I was in a happy healthy relationship.”Smith and Carrington began dating in 2020 while they both played basketball for Baylor.The two also played together last season for the Wings before Smith was traded to Las Vegas.

Carrington, 28, has been rumored to be in a relationship with Smith’s Aces teammate, Jackie Young.Neither have confirmed or commented on the rumors that started in the offseason.

Smith continued by addressing Carrington naming Kelly and Nye in her post.“Then, to bring up folks name that has nothing to do with anything.These folks is minding their business.

These folks woke up to this s–t on a random Sunday night of these type of allegations,” Smith said.“I think that’s very weird.”After Carrington’s post, it was unclear what prompted to publicly disclose the information about her former relationship.
