Officials have released new, heartbreaking information about the death of former Super Bowl champion Jordan Devey.According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, the ex-New England Patriots offensive lineman attempted suicide at his home in Boise, Idaho at around 10:31 a.m.on July 21.First responders rushed to the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital in an effort to save his life.Tragically, “he was later pronounced deceased,” the ACSO said in a statement to The California Post on Monday.“This incident is currently under investigation,” police added, “and no foul play is suspected.”The Ada County Coroner’s Office officially ruled on Monday that Devey’s cause of death was asphyxia by ligature hanging.
