Two teacher aides slashed by student, 17, inside NYC high school

A student slashed two teacher aides inside a Bronx high school on Monday morning, according to cops and sources.The 17-year-old student slashed the two educator aides with a sharp object inside Howard Taft High School in Claremont just after 10:15 a.m., according to the NYPD and sources.A 53-year-old man sustained a laceration to the left arm, and a 30-year-old man suffered a minor laceration to his left hand, cops said.The 30-year-old aide was cut while trying to intervene in the altercation, WABC reported.Emergency responders brought the pair to BronxCare Health with minor injuries.

Both aides assist special-needs children with disabilities, sources added.The teen student fled the scene and was last seen carrying a blue backpack and wearing a black shirt and blue sweater, the outlet and sources said.No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing....
