Police Searching for Woman Who Disappeared From Shambhala Music Festival

Canadian police are asking for the public’s help locating a 28-year-old woman who vanished from the 2026 Shambhala Music Festival at the Salmo River Ranch.Ad 0:00 Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has issued a public appeal for information about the woman, Kayla Boisvert of Ontario.

Her friend, Ming Liu, offered a timeline in a series of social media posts that began circulating roughly 24 hours after her disappearance, saying the two had been together for the start of a DJ set by Kai Wachi at the festival’s Pagoda stage at 12:15am Monday.According to Liu’s account, the group later moved to the festival’s Village stage for a performance by Ganja White Night at around 1am.

It was not clear from the post exactly when Boisvert became separated from her friends.Liu said the last text message he received from her was sent at 3am.

Police described Boisvert as 6 feet tall, with brown eyes and black hair styled with long blonde braids.She was last seen wearing a blue head scarf, several multicolored scarves, an oversized graphic t-shirt with a design of a red panda, and a Champion fanny pack.

In his posts, Liu added that Boisvert is of Jamaican descent and weighs between 160 and 170 pounds.Shambhala’s organizers announced on Tuesday that they have joined the search for Boisvert.
