The health of the 66-year-old is also a topic of concern for some inside Walter’s business empire, according to the Wall Street Journal.In the middle of the Dodgers’ 2024 World Series run, Walter suffered a stroke and was notably absent from the team’s festivities after the team had been crowned champions.
Walter was present for the Dodgers’ 2025 World Series win at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, but didn’t join the team for the trophy presentation in the Bronx in 2024.Now, it’s been revealed he was dealing with a medical emergency at that time.
The Dodgers declined to comment at this time.The recovery process from the stroke was reportedly arduous for Walter as he struggled to speak clearly for months.According to executives and investors involved with Walter, they felt that his mental sharpness had declined since the stroke.
Other sources told the Wall Street Journal that there was no evidence of Walter’s health emergency affecting his decision-making for the business empire.A TWG Global spokesperson provided a statement on Walter to the Wall Street Journal: “Mark has the business acumen and judgment required to lead the company as he has done for more than 30 years.
