A terrifying video shows the moment a quick-thinking mom used a gas pump to fend off a crazed, gun-toting man attempting to snatch her child at a Georgia gas station.The shirtless suspect Jerahn Tucker approached the family’s car at a Shell gas station in Marietta just after midnight last week, according to surveillance footage obtained by WSB-TV.The clip captures Tucker, who was topless and barefoot, walking off from the scene and returning to peer inside the vehicle parked at a gas pump.A child inside opened the car door and ran around the vehicle to flee from the deranged creep who was chasing after him, according to the stomach-dropping footage.At one point, Tucker opened the car’s back door, where a second child was sitting, while the boy continued to run in circles.The terrified mother then leaped into action, grabbing a gas pump to push Tucker away and separate the pair — giving the child a chance to get back into the car.
The heroic mother, who has not been identified, later told investigators that Tucker had a gun, according to a warrant obtained by Fox 5 Atlanta.Two witnesses also jumped in to help, police said.
The sicko drove off from the scene but was quickly chased down by cops, who said they also found a THC vape in his car.“The actions of the mother and everyone on the scene, their ability to remain calm under pressure and push him away, get him away from the children, get a hold of us so that we can get to the area allowed us to hold this individual accountable,” Marietta Police Department Public Information Officer Charles McPhilamy told WSB-TV.Tucker — an apparent amateur rapper, according to a social media profile — was booked into Cobb County Jail on multiple charges, including attempted kidnapping and simple assault fear.The gas station manager also said he’d kicked Tucker off the property multiple times before the alleged abduction attempt.“The million-dollar question everyone watching is going to ask: Why did this happen...
