Grandmaster Flash, meet… grandma.While most retirees are scheduling colonoscopies, dodging scammers and battling the long shadow of loneliness, 61-year-old Lynne Cole is partying late into the night at hardcore techno raves.A former live-in nanny, a newly single Cole has traded a life of domesticity for a raging time on the dance floor — and Cole says she has never felt freer or fuller.“My life has been waiting for this moment,” the 61-year-old told The Post.

“It’s like the gods said, ‘This is the world, go get it.'”But until recently, the Gen X dancing queen wasn’t having the time of her life.In fact, she was at an all-time low.

“My mental health was pretty bad,” Cole told The Post, revealing a struggle with menopause and the end of her decades-long marriage had cast her into a deep depression.“I felt like a nobody.

Low self-esteem, low everything.I’d just lay in bed a lot.”Concerned for her well-being — and remembering her complaints that Cole’s ex-husband never wanted to go out dancing with her — the Aussie’s three adult children convinced her to join them at Defqon.1, a 96-hour rave in the Netherlands billed as “the world’s largest hardstyle music festival.” But Cole was too deep in her funk to think much about funky music.“I thought, ‘I’m getting too old.’ I don’t think I should go, because social norms dictate that older people shouldn’t,” the Melbourne resident, who lives in a camper van, said.

“I went there not knowing how to dress, and I just danced along the side.”At least at first.After finding her flow on the dance floor, Cole went from her wallflower era to taking center stage in the middle of a packed, stylish crowd.“I realized this is it! This is what I’ve been missing,” she said.In the 10 years since her Defqon debut, Cole has become an unlikely icon of the rave scene.
