(Nicole Curtis)Curtis obtained ownership of the property in 2021 after litigation with the Detroit Land Bank Authority, according to The Detroit News.At that time, Wayne County Circuit Judge Timothy Kenny deemed the 1921 American foursquare-style home a danger to the community and ordered it to be refurbished.Since then, the city has cited the owner for failing to repair or replace damaged, defective and missing exterior features, as well as failing to repair the roof and gutters, among several other violations.
