Rock-hurling crew stabbed 2 teen boys, snatched electric scooter in NYC attack: cops

A rock-hurling crew stabbed two teen boys and snatched their electric scooter in Queens on Wednesday afternoon, cops said. The seven muggers chucked rocks at two 15-year-olds and one 17-year-old as they demanded the trio hand over what they had minutes before 4 p.m.at 111th Street and 49th Avenue in Corona, police said. They then stabbed the older teen in the back and right shoulder, slashed one of the younger victims on the face and fled with the scooter, authorities said.Both went to the Elmhurst Hospital Center, where they were listed in stable condition. The other 15-year-old boy was not hurt, police said.Luinyerbed Marcanoliendo, 18, of Brooklyn – who is accused of knifing one of the teens, an acquaintance – was charged with robbery, gang assault, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, police said. He has no previous arrests, according to police.The other suspects in the stick-up remain at large, cops said.The violence unfolded steps from the Queens Museum, Queens Zoo, New York Hall of Science and Flushing Meadows Corona Park....
