The Penthouse Pet accused of stealing valuables from guests at an Airbnb at Coachella tried to duck the spotlight Thursday, turning away from cameras as she made a brief appearance before a Los Angeles judge.Adva Lavie, wearing a blue jail-issued gown and handcuffs, entered the courtroom ready for the hearing — but quickly turned her head and body away after spotting a Post photographer.As soon as it became clear cameras were in the courtroom, Lavie’s attorney, Lou Shapiro, who appeared via Zoom, told the judge his client did not need to be present for the proceedings.A visibly rattled Lavie then turned around and hurried back into the lockup, escorted by a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy as the security door slammed shut behind her.After the dramatic exit, Shapiro argued that his client wasn’t a flight risk despite being caught not wearing her GPS monitoring ankle bracelet when she was arrested Tuesday night at Beverly Hills hot spot Azur.“She was still in Los Angeles, she was still in Beverly Hills, she stayed locally, she had every opportunity to leave but stayed,” Shapiro argued.An outraged prosecutor disagreed.“She cut off her ankle bracelet, how can that not be a flight risk.

We don’t know if she left, she didn’t have her bracelet on,” he said.Lavie appeared in court on a misdemeanor charge tied to her allegedly missing court-ordered ankle monitor.She did not enter a plea during the brief hearing.A judge continued the case until Sept.
