Deebo Samuel appears to be ready to rejoin the San Francisco 49ers.On Friday morning, Samuel posted a photo on his Instagram story that featured him lying inside a plane.The image of Samuel on a flight likely indicates he’s headed to the 49ers’ practice facility in Santa Clara, CA, as it was reported that Samuel and the team came to terms on a one-year, $7 million contract.Samuel is will be reuniting with the 49ers after spending last season with the Washington Commanders, where he appeared in 16 games and had 727 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns, despite the absence of Jayden Daniels, who missed time due to multiple injuries.His first stint in San Francisco lasted six seasons from 2019-2024.He was used as a hybrid weapon lining up at wide receiver and running back, and was notorious for making explosive plays, having 334 receptions for 4,792 yards and 22 touchdowns.Samuel’s best year with the 49ers came in 2021 when he earned All-Pro honors, with 1,405 receiving yards, 77 receptions, and 6 touchdowns.

In the backfield, he had 59 carries for 365 yards and 8 touchdowns.His longest run that season went for 49 yards.
