Trump reveals plan to keep Todd Blanche even if lame duck GOP senators refuse to confirm nomination

President Trump threatened to keep Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche in his position if lame duck Republicans don’t confirm his nomination in the Senate.The president took to Truth Social on Saturday morning to air out two former GOP allies who were allegedly not willing to confirm Blanche, who has been acting AG since April 2 following the removal of Pam Bondi.“If Senators Cornyn and Tillis, both upset because I wouldn’t Endorse them (they lost, and quit, respectively!), aren’t going to approve Todd Blanche, one of the most respected professionals, according to everybody, in the Country, to be the United States Attorney General, then I will keep Todd as Acting A.G.,” Trump wrote on Saturday morning.Trump said he would also “push hard to get the Anti-Weaponization Bill, which takes care of those who have been so badly treated by the Crooked Joe Biden (and Obuma!)
