Sams Club reveals details on rebrand and stores modern design overhaul

Your next trip to Sam’s Club may look very different. The membership-only warehouse chain has recently unveiled a whole new logo and slogan — “Come Join Us.” The rebrand officially started back in October 2025 as the Costco rival debuted the changes at a Springdale location in Arkansas. Its re-grand opening showcased a remodel where a notable change was dropping the amount of self-checkout stations to encourage the Scan & Go.This is where customers use their smartphones to scan item barcodes, pay directly on the app and completely skip regular checkout lines.Sam’s Club’s newest location in Lebanon, Tennessee, is its latest model, a 168,000-square-foot store with a fuel station and expanded shopping sections opened on July 30.
The location has a modern visual look, and features a health care service with a pharmacy, optical and hearing centers all into one suite. The club’s Optical Center will also carry over 240 designer and luxury frames from popular brands like Ray-Ban, Gucci, Oakley, Tom Ford and Kate Spade. And there’s even an entire floral department. Sam’s Club told USA Today, “The space is designed so members can watch associates create custom floral arrangements, bringing a little theater to the shopping experience while giving associates more time to focus on personalized service.” The new store, at 600 Willard Hagan Drive, will also feature an outdoor cafe, items and products from local businesses and a larger fresh department with “product islands that are one-third larger than the ones in standard Sam’s Club locations,” the company said. These newer islands will have even more meat, seafood, deli and prepared foods options.
Plus, one of the islands features sushi, where customers to watch trained chefs prepare sushi. While the mega-warehouse chain has made some big changes, not all stores will see the switch so soon.Sam’s Club will only be adding rebranding new stores to start and remodel others along the way.
