Rob Reiners son, Jake, describes heartfelt reason to throw out first pitch at Dodgers game

Jake Reiner shared the heartfelt reason he and his sister honored their late parents by throwing out the first pitch at a recent Los Angeles Dodgers game.“The Dodgers have always been a huge part of our family,” Jake wrote on X.“My dad and I could talk baseball for hours and I truly never felt closer to him than when we’d watch games together.”“Dodger Stadium is a place we’d love to come to as a family,” he continued.

“Romy and I wanted to honor our mom and dad by throwing out a ceremonial first pitch for each of them.We’re grateful the Dodgers helped make this moment so special.”Jake and Romy took the field before Sunday’s Dodgers-Red Sox game at Dodger Stadium wearing jerseys with “Reiner,” across the back.
