Irvine isn’t exactly known as party central.But it turns out nobody nurses a bender better.The famously buttoned-up Orange County city has been crowned the best-equipped place in America to survive the morning after, topping a ranking of 75 major US cities for hangover recovery convenience.And California didn’t stop after last call.Long Beach landed in third place, while Oakland and Stockton staggered into sixth and seventh — giving the Golden State four of the top seven spots nationwide.Irvine blitzed the competition with enough caffeine, juice, brunch and IV hydration listings to perk up even the rowdiest of revelers.The master-planned city led the nation with 98.8, 142.7 and 455 listings per 100,000 residents, according to the analysis.It also record 230 brunch spots per 100,000 residents, making eggs Benedict and mimosas — hair of the dog optional — especially easy to find.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
