Six Flags Magic Mountain suddenly closed due to mass power outage

A power outage forced Six Flags Magic Mountain to abruptly close Wednesday morning.“Six Flags Magic Mountain is currently experiencing a power outage.Our teams are assessing the situation and working to restore operations as safely and quickly as possible,” the self-proclaimed “Thrill Capital of the World” said in a statement posted on social media.

“We appreciate your patience and will share updates as they become available.”Park officials said they were working with Southern California Edison to resolve the outage and safely restore power.Magic Mountain said rides the park is not expected to resume operating until at least 1 p.m.Wednesday.
