Fast-moving wildfire tears through El Tejon Pass forcing evacuation warnings

A wildfire is raging near Tejon Pass in Kern County as officials issue evacuation orders for the area.The Buzzard Fire started around 8:29 a.m.Wednesday and quickly ballooned from 30 acres to 180 acres in less than two hours.An evacuation warning is in effect for I-5 north of Lebec Road.“An Evacuation WARNING is in effect in the I-5 north of Lebec Road,” the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said.“You should PREPARE to leave.
