Exclusive | Weezer bassist and his estranged wife ask $3M for LA home where she shot at cops in a bizarre meltdown

The California hillside retreat where Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s estranged wife exchanged gunfire with police last spring is officially on the market, The Post has learned. Shriner, who is the longest-running bassist for Weezer, and author Jillian Lauren have listed their gated mid-century compound at 1205 Eagle Vista Drive in Los Angeles for $2.95 million. In September, a judge granted her a two-year mental health diversion program that could ultimately wipe the case from her record. The Los Angeles Police Commission determined earlier this year that officers involved in the shooting acted improperly, with LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell now weighing possible discipline.Lauren, a bestselling author known for her memoir “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem,” broke her silence on the incident in a December interview with Rolling Stone, describing the ordeal as self-defense.“I was doing the best I knew to protect my family,” Lauren said.
