Drunk SC driver Jamie Komoroski screamed at cops to go check on her as she appears to see body of bride: bodycam

Convicted drunk driver Jamie Komoroski urged South Carolina cops to check on the bride that she killed after plowing into her golf cart minutes after her wedding reception, according to newly released police bodycam footage.Komoroski, then 25, claimed that she “didn’t do anything wrong” as she sat roadside following the crash that saw 34-year-old newlywed Samantha Hutchinson pronounced dead in Folly Beach, SC in April 2023, WCSC reported.Komoroski was traveling behind the wheel of her Toyota rental car at 65 mph when she smashed into the back of Hutchinson’s golf cart.“Is she okay?” Komoroski asked bystanders about Hutchinson, according to a clip which the outlet released.Komoroski then yelped, “Go check on her,” while an officer surveyed the wreckage.
Komoroski’s car airbag was deployed and smoke was seen billowing into the air.Komoroski was helped to her feet before she screamed and appeared to point at Hutchinson’s body.“We can get a blanket and cover her up,” a responding officer was heard saying just before 10:30 p.m.on April 28, while Komoroski was led away from the crash scene.Folly Beach cops have also released footage that showed Komoroski being uncooperative at the roadside once she had composed herself.Komoroski, who had spent an hour drinking at bars before the crash, initially told cops she didn’t have a drink – before admitting she had a beer and a tequila pineapple cocktail.
“On a scale of 1-10; 10 being the most impaired and intoxicated you’ve ever been in your entire life, and 1 being completely sober, where would you rate yourself right now,” the officer asked at 10:56 p.m.“I would like a lawyer right now, honestly,” Komoroski fired back.She also wanted to call her dad, a request refused by the cop, and was told several times to put her feet inside the police car.Komoroski continued to complain when she was in the police station.“I just, like, want to get it over with and go home,” she said.She asked an...
