Proud.”Czarniak was slated to make her debut on the streaming sports network Sunday night, according to an Instagram announcement shared by Czarniak and CBS Sports.The new role adds another major network to Czarniak’s lengthy sports broadcasting résumé, which has included stints at ESPN and Fox Sports as well as multiple assignments covering the Olympics for NBC.The 48-year-old broadcaster spent six years at ESPN beginning in 2011, where she anchored “SportsCenter” and other programs.In 2013, she became the first woman to host ABC’s Indianapolis 500 telecast.She later joined Fox Sports in 2019, working as a NASCAR studio host and NFL sideline reporter.Czarniak also completed her sixth NBC Olympics assignment at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games and this year branched into true crime as host of Investigation Discovery’s “Game Day Murders,” which examines homicide cases tied to the sports world.Her new CBS Sports HQ job comes nearly 15 years after Czarniak and Melvin made major career moves that took both broadcasters from Washington, DC, to national television.The pair met while working at NBC-owned WRC-TV in Washington in 2008, after Czarniak returned from covering the Beijing Olympics.Their relationship was initially complicated because they were colleagues.The pair became romantically involved but briefly stopped dating in 2009 before reconnecting that summer.Their first formal date was at Café Atlantico in Washington that October.Melvin proposed during a private sail in Miami in March 2011, and they married Oct.
