Universal offers new daytime Halloween haunted house tours with the lights on

Those who think that Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights is a bit too scary with all the lights off are getting a new option at the attraction this year.Universal Studios announced its first-ever daytime add-on dubbed “Unmasking the Horror,” a daytime “behind-the-scenes glimpse” at the long-running horror-themed event.The “Unmasking the Horror” tour will offer guests, “a closer look at the craftmanship that goes into Halloween Horror Nights.”“The guided lights-on walkthrough offers unique insights into the creative process behind the ‘Sinners’ and ‘KILLceañera: Music by SLASH’ haunted houses with the opportunity to photograph within select designated areas,” the announcement added.This is an add-on that will cost $20 on top of the theme park admission prices to get into Halloween Horror Nights.While the “Sinners” house was announced back in May, the “KILLceanera: Music By Slash” house was announced on Tuesday as one of the final pieces to the event.Other final additions to HHN include the Terror Tram starring Art the Clown from the popular “Terrifier” horror film series, the return of a house featuring the cult classic “Killer Klowns from Outer Space” and a new original house dubbed “Dead, Deader and Deadest.” California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.Please provide a valid email.
