California teachers launch ICE patrols as theyre spotted circling schools hunting for incognito federal agents

A radical group of California educators has sparked fury by launching an ICE-hunting team to try to spot US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents operating near schools.Lupe Carrasco Cardona, who teaches ethics at Los Angeles Unified School District, revealed she was among those prowling for federal employees as they sought illegal immigrants in the city.She took CBS on a ride-along with her anti-immigration control group “Unión del Barrio,” where she made a big show out of spotting a Ford car — which turned out to belong to a member of the general public.During the footage outside Edward R.Roybal Learning Center in downtown LA, they found no ICE agents, despite some false alarms.In the clip she drives past the nondescript Ford Explorer and told her colleague: “Remember to take photos, OK?”Cardona claimed the patrol will not engage with ICE agents or act if they spot any, and was only there to report any federal activity.
