Rams rookie quarterback Ty Simpson reveals best piece of advice from Matthew Stafford

Ty Simpson is a day away from making his NFL debut when the Los Angeles Rams travel to play the Kansas City Chiefs this Saturday.With a high amount of anticipation in front of him, Simpson revealed to reporters on Thursday some of the best advice Matthew Stafford has given him.“To just be yourself,” Simpson said.“… ‘Don’t try to be somebody else; just do it your way.”Simpson added that Stafford told him, “A lot of times people get caught up in the mess of trying to do like somebody else, trying to be like whoever, but it is more about finding who you are and how things work and tick.”The next three weeks will be a crucial learning period for Simpson as he will likely see a large amount of playing time before the regular season, as Stafford will likely not take a preseason snap.
