Alex Trebeks ginormous California ranch sells at jaw-dropping discount

The sprawling California ranch and vineyard once owned by beloved “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek has fetched $16.9 million after hitting the auction block — going for nearly half of staggering $33 million price tag it carried when it hit the market last year.Known as Windfall Farms, the 724-acre mega-estate in the rolling hills of Paso Robles went to the highest bidder during Monterey Car Week last week after languishing on the market. The sale is now pending, according to Concierge Auctions, which sold the estate in partnership with Sotheby’s International Realty.

It also houses an industrial-grade, three-bay machine shop outfitted with heavy-duty hydraulic lift, 480V three-phase power, and natural gas lines.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
