Utter pandemonium as mass street brawl between women breaks out near Tacos El Gordo in San Diego

A chaotic brawl erupted Saturday night in downtown San Diego with cops deploying pepper spray as multiple women became embroiled in a wild fistfight.The melee unfolded outside Tacos El Gordo near the intersection of F Street and Fifth Avenue, according to a video circulating online.Footage shows at least half a dozen officers on bicycles rushing in to break up the fight as three women dressed in black traded punches.The reason the brawl broke out was not immediately clear.Police have not said whether anyone was arrested or charged in connection with the confrontation.The video shows officers initially struggling to gain control of the scene, including detaining a man who was face down on the hood of a car and breaking up another fight between two men laid on the side of the pavement.Officers then unleashed cans of pepper spray at two women who were locked in an intense fight, with the pair throwing punches, pulling each other’s hair and kicking at one another.At one point, one of the women appears to slam into officers before falling on to their bicycles as police attempt to separate the combatants.

Police also appeared to handcuff the woman.As they continued fighting, one could be heard repeatedly shouting, “I don’t give a f***” before appearing to throw a punch.A crowd gathered around the confrontation, with several people appearing to watch and cheer as officers worked to bring the brawl under control.Another video appears to show how the brawl began, though it does not reveal what sparked the confrontation.The footage shows one woman confronting another while they waited in line at the taco shop.
