They trotted out Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten (and his fake hair) and Booger McFarland.That got so bad that someone decided to put Booger into a sideline cart that blocked the view of fans so bad (I raised so much hell online with photographic evidence of Booger blocking fans) that the Booger cart was a one-and-done.ESPN never went back to such a dumb setup, but they had to get Booger out of that three-man booth somehow.PAT MCAFEE HAS OFFICIALLY SURPASSED STEPHEN A SMITH AS THE FACE OF ESPNI'm also thinking back to a three-man booth from a couple of years ago with James Lofton and Jay Feely with a play-by-play guy.
Jay got mad at me for saying it, but the booth was a mess.Jay is an alpha.
He loves to talk.He would talk over Lofton at times.
Jay thought I was being too harsh on him, but I was just stating the obvious.If CBS was going to have Feely in the booth, it needed to be a two-man.
