AG James corrupt aide: Letters to the Editor Sept. 2, 2026

It seems New York Attorney General Letitia James crossed the line in going after President Trump (“Sue-per biased AG aide,” Sept.1).I find it amusing that the terms employed to describe James and other Democrats’ witch hunts against Trump are “lawfare” and “weaponization.” I believe the word for this type of conduct is actually persecution.Some 250 years ago, fear of this sort of oppression led our forebears to cross an ocean at great risk to form a great nation founded on freedom, liberty and justice for all.Bob HeierEstero, Fla.James’ abuse of power, dereliction of duty and malfeasance in use of taxpayer funds doesn’t surprise me.
