Virginia Gov.Abigail Spanberger claimed the Trump administration was attempting to take away the ability of Americans serving overseas to vote by mail — despite the Postal Service’s final rule explicitly exempting military and overseas ballots from its new requirements.The Postal Service’s (USPS) final rule at the center of the dispute expressly exempts ballots covered by the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) from the new federal ballot-mail requirements — though an Obama-appointed federal judge temporarily stayed key provisions of the rule Thursday."If you are serving our country abroad, I believe that you should have the ability to cast a vote in our elections.
