Why this Bengals season just feels different to Joe Burrow: Feel it in my bones

Joe Burrow is one-track minded this season and he believes he has the team to go after it.While serving as the first guest on the debut episode of Ja’Marr Chase’s “Chasing No 1” podcast, the Bengals quarterback was asked about his goals by his longtime Cincinnati and LSU teammate.“Man, I just want to win this year,” Burrow said Wednesday.“I just want to win.”Burrow added that could feel within his body throughout the offseason that a Super Bowl is in the cards with a revamped defense to complement the offnese.“I don’t know about you, but I could really feel it in my bones, in my soul in OTAs this year,” he said.

“Different from years past.”The 29-year-old explained that he’s previously felt that energy with the offense, which has retained notable pieces over the years.The difference is the veterans brought in on defense, such as ex-Giants star Dexter Lawrence, Bryan Cook, Jonathan Allen and Boye Mafe.“We brought in a lot of the right guys, a lot of the right people with the right mindsets to go and chase this goal of winning a Super Bowl and winning as many games as we can and being the best possible team that we can,” Burrow said.“I felt it from our D-line.I felt it in our defense…” he went on.

“The rest of it will take care of itself.I think we’ll break a bunch of records eventually but I think we are going to have a really good team that has a chance to win every game that we step on the field for.”Chase agreed with his teammate, saying those veteran voices and leaders will make a difference.“Like you said, energy wise, I can feel it too,” he said.“I like the fact that our defense is talking a little trash.

I like that,” Chase added.“I don’t know if it’s me pissing everybody off but I do like the fact that they talking for themselves.
