Bully throws baby crib filled with trash at woman, 90, on NYC sidewalk: video

A brute was caught on camera randomly throwing a baby crib filled with trash at a 90-year-old woman on a Brooklyn sidewalk this week, knocking her to the ground, according to cops.The senior was walking on busy Brighton Beach Avenue near Brighton 5th Street around 9:45 a.m.

Monday when the assailant ran up to her, grabbed the discarded crib left next to a trash can and hurled it at her, according to the NYPD and footage obtained by News 12.The victim fell on her side to the ground as garbage scattered around her and the heartless attacker ran off, the video shows.Meanwhile, several pedestrians walked down the same block – with two stopping to help the innocent nonagenarian, according to the footage.The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.No arrests have been made in connection to the senseless attack – and the NYPD released a still photo of the blue hoodie-wearing bully in hopes that someone may have spotted him. Older New Yorkers have fallen victim to assaults at a rampant rate this year, the NYPD previously told The Post.Assaults on New Yorkers over 65 have spiked by 14% compared to last year — and have skyrocketed 143% over the same span in 2018, according to NYPD data obtained by The Post.The NYPD points to an “astronomical” 50 percent increase in recidivist attackers who have targeted the elderly this year — referring to those who reoffend within 30 days. Anyone with information on the latest assault is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/, on X @NYPDTips....
