Lundberg Family Farms rice recall expanded as warning issued for Walmart, Target and Whole Foods shoppers

A recall of white jasmine rice manufactured by a Butte County producer has been expanded to include more than 27,000 packages of rice at major retailers including Walmart, Target and Whole Foods.Consumers are urged to look out for the purple two-pound packages of Lundberg Family Farms white jasmine rice in multiple states, including California.Bags with best-by dates of Feb.1, 2027 and a lot code of 260201, and a best-by date of Feb.
