ICE just made NY safer despite Hochul and Mamdanis best efforts to stop it

Gov.Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani are bent on protecting criminals from ICE, yet federal agents nonetheless collared a stunning 2,200 of them in July alone, and with more of that to come.Hooray for them — and New York.The arrested include full-on murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, gang members, child predators and other monsters nabbed as part of ICE’s “Operation Rotten Apple.” Again: 2,200 in all.Villains, per the feds, like:Can anyone really argue New York isn’t safer without these thugs?Yet Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin says ICE got absolutely “no help” from either Hochul or Mamdani in rounding them up.“Operation Rotten Apple did what sanctuary politicians in New York City and the state of New York refuse to do: made the Empire State safer,” he added. Indeed, Hochul has been boasting that a law she backed bans local cops from cooperating with federal agents as they pursue illegal-immigrant criminals.
