Daily Bread’s latest body of work draws inspiration from the chase: toward the next sound, the next memory and the horizon that can never be reached.The Atlanta producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist has released Vanishing Point, a 13-track album that stretches his signature electro-soul and bass sound across more reflective and atmospheric terrain.
At the center of the album is the concept of the “vanishing point,” the place on the horizon that remains visible but untouchable no matter how far forward you move.Daily Bread uses that image as a framework for an album about memory, ambition and uncertainty.
“There’s a point on the horizon you can see but never quite reach,” he said in a press release.“No matter how fast you drive it keeps moving down the road.
That place is the vanishing point.This album is about the memories behind us, the unknown ahead, and all the moments we collect along the way.” Across the project, Daily Bread’s dusty textures, chopped hip-hop samples and fluid rhythms collide with wobbly bass.
The vibe oscillates between soulful warmth and heavier impact, exploring every corner of his sound.Vanishing Point includes a carefully chosen group of collaborators who pull the producer’s Atlanta roots closer to the surface, including Jonah Cruzz on ‘Working The Plan,’ STS and Kyle Lucas on ‘Strange Love,’ Obeah on ‘Breathwork’ and Late Night Radio on the closing track, ‘A Long Time.’ Hip-hop has always been part of his musical foundation, but Vanishing Point brings rappers and vocalists into the album’s bedrock rather than leaving those influences implied through samples alone.
