Matthew Staffords wife Kelly reveals intimate reset before Rams season

The Rams’ decision to fly to Australia a day before their NFL regular-season opener against the 49ers next week is raising eyebrows.The silver lining is that it affords the players and staff more time with their families before heading across the world.And it seems that Rams star quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, took full advantage of this time.

Kelly shared an Instagram collage of what looked to be an intimate getaway with her and the reigning NFL MVP on Friday.The post was captioned, “A reset before the chaos.

/ I just love this man ️” and the location was Homewood, Lake Tahoe, which is about an eight-hour drive from Los Angeles.It’s unclear whether Matthew and Kelly’s four daughters made the trip with them.

However, one would assume that Kelly would have included photos of them in the post if they had been there, which makes it seem like it was just a romantic trip for husband and wife.Kelly has spoken about how Matthew’s desire to spend more time with family and attend his daughters’ sports games has weighed heavily on his mind recently and could ultimately be what causes the 38-year-old to retire at some point in the relatively near future.In the meantime, Stafford is taking his breaks from the field when he can get them.

And this was a great time to do so, given that his focus will have to turn toward the upcoming season soon....
