Adam Schefter drops major Puka Nacua suspension update that changes Rams season outlook

Rams fans can breathe easy because star wide receiver Puka Nacua is expected to play against the 49ers later this week. This proved that Nacua dodged a suspension for the regular season’s first game. However, there’s still a chance he could be suspended at some point later on in the year. But this doesn’t seem likely, either, given what ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday.“I think there’s a real possibility that Puka is going to go through this season unscathed, and not face any discipline for his part on the off-field incident, with that woman where he was accused of, allegedly, I guess, biting her,” Schefter said.“He’s gonna be out there Thursday night against the 49ers.
It doesn’t sound like he’s gonna face any discipline this year, right now. We’ll see if anything comes of that,” he added.
“It looks like [Nacua and Rams tackle Alaric Jackson] are in the clear for the time being, and he’ll be out there on Thursday night,” Schefter continued. This is a stark contrast to Schefter saying last month that it was within “the realm of options” that Nacua doesn’t play against the 49ers, especially because the belief was that Schefter would not have said that publicly without having some indication it could be the case.Nacua and the Rams aren’t completely in the clear. But Los Angeles’ season outlook feels a whole lot better after hearing what Schefter said about Nacua’s suspension status....
