Billionaire bashing is latest eyerolling trend by holier-than-thou A-listers who are millionaires themselves

For multi-millionaire celebs, publicly blasting billionaires is their new virtue signal.Last week Andrew Garfield went even further, saying he hoped his new movie, “The Uprising” about England’s 1381 Peasants’ Revolt, instilled fear into the uber wealthy.Promoting the flick at an Los Angeles screening, Garfield was asked what he wanted moviegoers to take away from it and the 43-year-old said he wants it to be “galvanizing.I hope there’s some awakening that people feel … that we all feel like our own struggles are being reflected in the struggles of these characters from a distant time and place.”“And I hope that if any billionaires watch it, they’re scared s—tless,” he said.Scared of what? Maybe he’d like to explain in detail to the billionaires who have funded his work over the years, allowing him to become wealthy himself.Is he rooting for some sort of violence targeting elites? And if so, where does he think he falls in this hierarchy-of-haves?Does he think when the uprising happens, the angry masses will skip him because he’s one of the “good” rich people?
