There has been a major update after an Australian tourist was caught allegedly having sex in public while on holiday in Bali.Billy Aspinall was captured on CCTV allegedly engaging in a sex act with a woman he had just met on a resident’s driveway in North Kuta on Aug.22.The 27-year-old Sunshine Coast man was then arrested at Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport after trying to board a flight home on Aug.

25.Aspinall then spent the next two weeks in immigration detention.Now, it has been revealed that Aspinall has been deported from Bali and has been banned from entering Indonesia for the next ten years.The tourist was bound for Brisbane on a Batik Air flight on Tuesday night, according to national publication, the Bali Times.The head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Muhamad Novyandri, confirmed the deportation on Wednesday.He said the deportation represented the cooperation between immigration authorities and the local police in maintaining public order and supervising foreign nationals in Bali.“The deportation of BA was carried out on Tuesday night using a Batik Air flight on the Denpasar-Brisbane route,” Novyandri said.“We will continue to strengthen immigration supervision and maintain close co-ordination with law enforcement authorities, while taking firm action if violations of immigration regulations are found in the future.”Novyandri added that the action was in line with the Immigration Directorate General’s ‘Immigration for the People’ approach, which emphasizes professional, humane and firm enforcement, the outlet reported.The strict 10 year entry ban means that Aspinall will not be permitted to return to Indonesia in any capacity during the period of the sanction.North Kuta chief police commander Ketut Sukadana said at the time that the alleged “indecent acts have the potential to cause public concern”.“Particularly among the residents of Tibubeneng, and may negatively affect the image of security and tourism i...
