The Issue: NYPD Commissioner Tisch calling for “moral clarity” between heroes and terrorists of 9/11.NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch’s call to distinguish the heroes of 9/11 from the terrorists who murdered them confirms once again her extraordinary potential to help wrest New York politics from radicals who disparage the city’s heroes and blur the moral distinction between victim and murderer (“ ‘Moral clarity’ clearly needed,” Liel Leibovitz, Sept.11).New York City and state could scarcely find a more compelling future candidate for mayor or governor than the intrepid Tisch.
