It also supports the second-generation iPhone SE and later.That means plenty of people can upgrade without buying a new phone.
However, the biggest AI features have tougher hardware requirements.Apple Intelligence and Siri AI require an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, or an iPhone 16 model or later.
