Teen girl, boyfriend charged in bloody Westchester college campus stabbing
A 17-year-old girl is among the two students charged in a wild brawl on a Westchester County college campus that left two people injured, authorities said Thursday.The teen, who was not identified because of her age, and her boyfriend, 18-year-old Darryl Crawford, were charged with felony assault for the shocking caught-on-video scuffle at Westchester Community College Wednesday afternoon that left one victim with a collapsed lung, authorities said.Crawford allegedly got into a violent fight outside the David Swoope Student Center when he “did produce a knife in his left hand with the intent to case serious physical injury,” according to a criminal complaint.It is unclear if Crawford stabbed one of the victims, but he allegedly dropped the knife and his gal pal picked up the weapon to “stab the victim with the broken off blade” of the pocket knife, the complaint said.
Both were arraigned on felony assault charges, with the teen now being held at the Woodfield Cottage juvenile detention facility and Crawford held at the county jail on $25,000 cash bail or a bond of up to $100,000 after being arraigned in Greenburgh Town Court on Thursday.He is due back in court on Oct.
