Patriots star TreVeyon Henderson ready to go after missing Week 1

TreVeyon Henderson is back. The Patriots running back declared himself fully healthy ahead of Sunday’s game against the Steelers after missing New England’s season opener against the Seahawks in Seattle with an ankle injury.“I’m ready to go.Thank God I’m healed up now,” Henderson said Thursday.

Henderson said the missed time was frustrating, but he tried to make the most of it while working his way back.“I’m thankful. It just continued to draw me closer to the Lord, and I’m thankful for the time, thankful for the growth,” Henderson said of missing Week 1.
“I wanted to be out there [last week] pretty bad, it was a good matchup, good game, I think we competed really hard.”New England is hoping the explosive Henderson can give their offense a boost after they put up just 4.1 yards per play in their season opener, which was the fifth-fewest among all teams in Week 1.Henderson should immediately slide back into a significant role, though it remains to be seen how New England divides the workload between him and Stevenson....
