Angel mom pleads with her party to 'grow up' on immigration after newlywed son killed in truck crash

A lifelong Democrat whose newlywed son and daughter-in-law were killed in a crash involving an illegal immigrant truck driver is pleading with her party to change course on immigration, saying she is "ashamed" of how her party has handled the issue."I was shocked and heartbroken to hear that the man responsible for our son and daughter-in-law's death, the driver of the 18-wheeler that they collided with, that he was a part of Biden's catch-and-release policy," angel mom Elizabeth Carter told "Hannity" Thursday.Carter's son, William Micah "Billy" Carter, 25, and his wife, Jennifer Lynn Lower Carter, 24, were killed in Nov.2025, when their Subaru struck a tractor-trailer that had jackknifed across both lanes of U.S.
