Talk about trading up.While his estranged wife battles him for a fortune in a New Jersey courtroom, hedge fund titan John Overdeck has settled into a $72 million Palm Beach waterfront palace with a new partner.The Two Sigma co-founder, 56, bought the 16,000-square-foot spread through a Delaware shell called Avocado Enterprises, according to records reviewed by the Daily Mail.That is nearly triple the roughly 6,000-square-foot Short Hills, NJ, home he once shared with his ex-wife Laura.He shares the Florida residence with Kimia Shadrokh, 42, a Peakstone managing director and former commercial real estate executive at the Moinian Group.
Both gave the address when they registered to vote this spring, Florida records show.Overdeck’s attorney, Jonathan W.Wolfe, confirmed the romance. “John has been going through his divorce for more than four years,” he told the Daily Mail.
Overdeck “is now in a committed relationship with someone who he met long after this divorce process began.”The nearly 1-acre Neoclassical compound sits on the island’s exclusive north end, where Sylvester Stallone is among the neighbors.
