Horrifying video shows the moment a car crossed a California highway and smashed into a truck and trailer that then flipped over.The footage, released by the California Highway Patrol, shows a white Acura sedan traveling along State Route 33 in Fresno County when it crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic lanes. The Acura struck an oncoming truck head-on that was pulling two gravel trailers at the time.The biggest news, opinion and culture shaping California right now.

Never miss a story According to the CHP, the incident occurred on September 9 at around 11:30 a.m.at the intersection of State Route 33 and Coalinga-Mendota Road.The massive force of the collision forced the fully loaded truck and both attached trailers to lose balance and tumble over, spilling massive amounts of gravel and diesel on the road.The Acura driver sustained major injuries, while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
