Kyle Shanahan has cold 1-word response to potential Brandon Aiyuk return amid 49ers WR injuries

The San Francisco 49ers’ slew of wide receiver injuries has not opened the door for Brandon Aiyuk’s return.49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan made this crystal clear after his team’s 35-13 win against the Miami Dolphins.He was asked about whether he’d consider bringing back Aiyuk, given all the injuries San Francisco’s wide receiver room is dealing with.“No,” Shanahan said, per The San Francisco Standard’s Tim Kawakami.

Aiyuk is no longer on the 49ers’ active roster.This comes after an offseason where the embittered wide receiver was making weekly headlines for absurd reasons, especially social media rants where he expressed frustration with the 49ers’ franchise.

Aiyuk even seemed to take a shot at Shanahan with a social media post after Shanahan got in a car crash.So it is not a surprise to hear Shanahan is uninterested in reuniting with Aiyuk.Yet, San Francisco might need to bring somebody on board to address their wide receiver woes.
