Hasan Pikers backward beliefs: Letters to the Editor Sept. 22, 2026

Every story about Hasan Piker proves his stupidity, the latest being about his claims that Iranians should be allowed to have nuclear weapons and that America has committed more terrorism than al Qaeda (“Piker goes nuclear for Iran,” Sept.19).Iran wants to destabilize the whole world, as shown by its support of the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas.Piker also ignores Iran’s war against its own people as exemplified by its slaughter and imprisonment of thousands of protesters.Only Piker’s idiocy and outrageousness get him press; it’s time to stop falling for his nonsense.Niles WeliksonWilliston ParkThere is no better poster child for ending birthright citizenship than Piker, who has said America deserved 9/11 and just said America commits more terror than al Qaeda.Piker’s parents were Turkish students in America on visas when they had him before taking him home to be raised in Turkey.
