Club Space Founder Launching New Open-Air Electronic Music Venue in Miami

Miami is getting another open-air destination for house music, and Club Space founder Louis Puig is among the nightlife veterans behind it.AIRE is set to open this week at 111 NE 20th Street in Edgewater, taking over the former home of Boho Miami, which recently closed after a six-year run.

The new concept is said to be centering its live music programming around deep, soulful house music and will feature a rotating slate of local and international acts.Boho owner Jorge Moreno is leading the project alongside Puig, Aramis Lorie, Travis Rogers and John Fortini.

Puig opened Club Space in downtown Miami in 2000, helping establish the iconic venue before it became synonymous with the city’s thriving electronic music culture.The opening gives the longtime Edgewater nightlife address an immediate second act following Boho’s farewell while reconnecting the space with a figure whose history stretches back to a formative era of Miami’s dance music scene.

AIRE will retain the location’s open-air setting while introducing a newly installed bar, updated menu and refreshed aesthetic.“Boho had a great six years, but the bohemian aesthetic became one of the most borrowed looks in hospitality,” Moreno said in a statement.
